Opened in 2003 by Paul Mitchell, Whitecap Design has extensive experience in both the design and construction of residential remodels and additions. Our goal is to work with clients to design and build homes that provide simple solutions to their needs. Whether you are looking to design a new home or need to renovate your existing home, Whitecap Design will work with you to create the home of your dreams. We work on all types of residential projects from small kitchen and bathroom remodels to major renovations and additions.
Paul received his Masters degree in architecture from Norwich University in 1996.
He began his career in the architecture field designing high-end custom residences in Colorado and has practiced in various regions of the country, including Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Maine. These projects range in construction costs up to $3 million and have afforded Paul the opportunity to design homes in many different architectural styles, from modern mountain homes to more traditional colonial and shingle-style homes.
In 2008 Whitecap Design expanded into the construction field. We have handled the construction of many projects including kitchen remodels, interior renovations, built-in furniture, garages, porches, etc. Being involved in a project from design through construction gives us the ability to make sure a strong concept is carried out with quality workmanship.
